OCTOBER 1-31 -PUMPKIN FESTIVAL
See pumpkins shots from a cannon, take a hayride, navigate a corn maze (haunted some evenings), try archery & paintball, and choose a pumpkin during the pumpkin Fest at wooden shoe farm in Woodburn.
OCTOBER 3-6 - HOME AND GARDEN SHOW
The Portland fall home & garden show fills the Portland Expo Center with home-improvement vendors, dining-room exhibits, garden displays, and thousands of peanuts.
OCTOBER 4-6 - PORTLAND MARATHON & HEATH EXPO
Friday and Saturday are registration and a free sports and fitness expo at the Hilton Portland. Sunday is the famous Portland Marathon, which includes a half marathon and walk.
