April 1 – April 30: Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest

Stroll through 40 acres of stunning beauty, experience expansive views of vineyards, distant mountains, and a few mud puddles. Fresh flowers, food, and fun for the entire family!


April 9: Bridge to Brews

Participate in the only running/walking event that takes you over the Fremont Bridge. Enjoy the very unique views of the city! There will be tons of entertainment on the course! At the end of the race you can celebrate at the Beer Festival with many great breweries, live music and more!


April 13: Folk Heroes of the Northwest Presentation

Join Oregon author William L. Sullivan for a slideshow tour of legendary Northwest folk heroes like Sacajawea, Bigfoot, and D.B. Cooper. These educational and entertaining tales about the Pacific Northwest’s historical figures are sure to impress. Sullivan has written a dozen nonfiction books and four novels about the Northwest, including “The Case of D.B. Cooper’s Parachute,” “Hiking Oregon’s History,” and “Oregon Favorites.”


April 14-15: Portland Spring Beer & Wine Fest

The 23rd annual Portland Spring Beer and Wine Fest brings 80 Northwest wines, beers, and spirits. Also enjoy food, cheese, chocolate, chef seminars and much more!


April 15: Old House Revival Tour

The Old House Revival Tour is excited to announce that it is back once again! This self-guided tour features several newly renovated and preserved homes. The homes on tour are characteristic of the many common eras and architectural styles that were found in Portland between the late 1800s and the 1960s. Bring the family and step back in time!


April 15: Rabbit Romp at the Zoo

Welcome spring at the Oregon Zoo with Easter egg hunts (ages 3-10), bunny crafts, activities, pettable bunnies, candy & prizes! Featuring fully compostable “Eco Eggs”. Free with zoo admission.
