Nov 6-8: 26th Annual Holiday Food & Gift Festival

Known as one of the largest holiday events in the Northwest, the Holiday Food & Gift Celebration draws thousands of attendees annually. Over 300 exhibitors will fill the Oregon Convention Center with their art, crafts, music, photography, clothing, jewelry, Christmas décor and so much more. Get your holiday shopping done early!

 Nov 12-17: Northwest Filmmaker’s Festival

For 42 years and counting, the Northwest Filmmaker’s Festival has brought audiences and industry artists together to celebrate their local work. More than 400 submissions are made each year in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana, Alaska and British Columbia. Join us this week to review, recognize and award these films and their creators!


Nov 15: Portland National Veterans Day Run

This annual race will be held at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland. Participants have the options of a 5k or 1-mile walk/run.  Family, friends and of course Veterans and Active-Duty military are invited. Come out and show your support for the men and women of our armed forces!


Nov 21: Portland Cranksgiving 2015

Portland’s Cranksgiving takes food drives—or shall we say food bikes?—to an entirely new level!  This scavenger hunt features teams of bicyclists that visit a list of stores in search of food and supplies for the homeless. The event benefits Outside In and prizes will be given to the best costumes, first ones back and biggest spenders. Bring $10, a bag, and your bike lock.


Nov 26: Turkey Trot at the Zoo

The Oregon Road Runners Club invites you to join them at the Oregon Zoo for this 4 mile run & walk. Baby joggers, runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate! Approximately $25,000 of entry fees will benefit the Oregon Zoo. Thanksgiving costumes are encouraged and pumpkin pie will be waiting for you at the finish line!


Nov 27: Macy’s Holiday Parade

Santa Claus is comin’ to town and will be making his way to Santaland at Macy’s! Join thousands of Oregonians for this Portland holiday tradition. Santa, marching bands, floats, costumed characters, balloons and so many more will be marching through the streets.


Nov 27: Tree Lighting Ceremony

This year SmartPark presents the Portland Tree Lighting Ceremony! The 75ft douglas fir will tower and twinkle above the bricks of Portland’s living room. Join the thousands of Portlanders for this magical evening of music, lights and entertainment.
